On Saturday April 1, 2017 The DJ Joe Bene and his partner DJ Bomber Bennett had the pleasure of providing professional DJ services to this beautiful couple for a Cinderella Wedding. Sharron had a vision for a beautiful fairy tale wedding and when her and Mike meet with me during the initial planning phase it was clear how important it was to work together and make this dream a reality! The couple did a lot of work and planning and during this time stayed in contact with me to ensure I had all the important information to make this personalized wedding come together as they visioned. The working relationship was extremely important as we were working outside the box of what would be considered routine, as a professional wedding vendor it is our job to work with the couple and make sure we are on the same page and provide the services they want. Together Sharron & Mike along with The Hotel Dupont and The DJ Joe Bene hit a home run and nailed their vision.
The event started with a GRAND BALL.. As the guest arrived they were announced into the ball as classical ball room & Disney music played in the background. Once all the guest were in the ball Cinderella (Sharron) made her first appearance! She was dressed in an evening gown right out of the Cinderella movie and looked stunning. It was time for Prince Charming (Mike) to pick a guest to dance with at the ball. As Price Charming gazed over the room he spotted Cinderella walked up to her, took her hand and engaged in a dance to Andrea Bocelli "Besame Mucho" . When the dance was finished the clock struck Midnight and cinderella ran off loosing her slipper.
The guest were now invited into the ceremony area where they waited as Cinderella changed into her wedding gown. The Royal Court (Bridal Party) were all dressed as Disney Characters and consisted of: A king, Lady Tremaine and Her Daughters, a Fairy Godmother, Footmen, A Grand Duke, Flower Girls, Banner Boys
and a Royal Coachman. The Ceremony was filled with a perfect mix of Disney Tunes and the guest were amazed at this royal event.
After the ceremony the guest were escorted back to the Grand Ball room for the reception. We had introductions and the guest went wild with applause as the Royal Court was introduced into the reception area. The songs for introductions were Uptown Funk, Kiss me and Thunderstruck. Sharron and Mike dance their first dance as husband and wife to "Mondo Bongo" and everyone loved it. We followed the dance with Blessing, Toasts and dinner! During dinner Sharron danced a special dance with her son Taylor The Royal Coachman to Shinedown " Simple Man" . The rest of the evening was filled with guest dancing and enjoying this beautiful fairy tale wedding with the bride and groom.
