Jessica & William Weiser Smithville Inn 7-1-2016

I had the honor of being the DJ for Jessica & William at the Smithville Inn on July 1, 2016. I got to meet with and work with this wonderful couple as they planned their special day. I have to say a little summer rain did not effect the spirit of these two. Their guest enjoyed a beautiful cocktail hour as I played music selected by the bride and groom that included: the rolling stones, Journey, Bob Marley and Fleetwood Mac to name a few. Guest made their way to the main dinning area and we started with intros and first dance. The first dance was set up by our bride and groom as they went from traditional into a hip hop dance that had the groom (William) twerking on the floor...... After a beautiful blessing by the grandmother of the bride and some awesome toast it was dinner time.

After dinner we lead into parent dances with our beautiful bride Jessica and her father dancing to Landslide followed by our groom and his lovely mother dancing to Thank You, however Thank You did not last long as groom and mom quickly changed things up with a little Mack the Knife by Bobby D and showed off some great dance moves.

One of our hight lights of the night was a surprise to Jessica. The groom along with members of his and her bridal party put on a dance show for Jessica as she sat in a chair and enjoyed the dancing. A few of the songs they busted out moves to were: Will2k, Every Little Step I Take, I'll Be, Mortal Kombat and Outta Your Mind.

From here the Bride and Groom danced they night away till the very end! They hand selected a great list of songs to be played that I incorporated with some guest request and the night moved smoothly forward. The couple selected the final song of the night "LIGHTS" by Journey and the guest packed the dance floor and you could hear the words as everyone sang from the floor. I thank Jessica and William for picking DJ JOE BENE to be part of this special day.
